If you think that race didn't play an important role in the 2008 Presidential race, think again. According the the
NY Times exit polling data, white voters were nearly evenly split between the two candidates. However, black voters voted overwhelmingly (95%) for the candidate they identified with their race. Who is it that has a racist attitude?

ummm, is that fairly consistent with the black vote historically? Haven't blacks voted in similar percentages for every white Democratic presidential candidate as well? Are you really trying to make the claim that the reason blacks didn't vote for McCain was because he was white? Really?
Actually, Amy, my claim is that white voters were split while black voters voted as a block. Wait, isn't that what I said in the post???
I am white so I do not know what it is like to be black. Perhaps it is in their own mind that they think that other people (white) think of them as second class citizens. Most whites do not think that way. I don't even know if that is what they think. But I have thought about how would I vote if I was black. Well... I can certainly understand if you had the thought I said originally and then you had an opportunity to vote for a black man and then you could say, " See there, we are important, the most powerful man in our country is black." So yes, I do understand that. But if you are black and if you are against abortion and against homosexuality ( notice I did not say homosexuals) like we know God is, then how do you vote for the most pro-abortion and pro- homosexual agenda. And how do you do that if you are white too? Would you vote for the other candidate and take a chance, or not vote at all? I don't know....But I do think that black people do not understand that they can be racist. So much of what they are for is just to benefit black people instead of "people". I think they think that only white people can be racist.
Chris, read my post about our hunting camp.
