Agriculture is critical to the Texas Economy. The Texas economy is leading the nation. It is only fitting that Texas Senator John Cornyn be appointed to the Senate Ag Committee. We need conservative voices offsetting the shrill cry of the animal rights activists.

It's not about animal rights. It's more like people should have a right to eat food that is healthy. Not full of hormones, cattle bones, GMO's, & antibiotics. Slaughtered and sanitized with carbon monoxide, to keep the slime covered up.
I think that and knowing that Texas Cattle Ranchers don't like clean water, and love Cornyn cause he doesn't like clean water either. is what most consumers have a problem with. The ones who care anyway.

The U.S. has the safest food supply and cleanest water in the world. U.S. ranchers are some of the best stewards of the land anywhere because their livlihood depends on it. Go check out some of the other countries -- you can't even drink the water. Oh, that's most of the countries in the world.
