Texas Constitutional Ammendments Ballot

The Texas and Southwestern Cattle Raisers Association has posted a guide to the upcoming ballot in Texas on proposed Constitutional Ammendments. These ammendments are all related to personal property rights. I urge you to seriously consider the implications these have for our state and for property owners.

A more thorough analysis by the Texas Legislative Council is here.

Did you see the one on the beaches? I was thinking this is what we pay our state congressmen to do, add beach parties to our list of constitutional rights?

The first time I get to vote, hopefully the last time I have to vote on whether or not it's a constitutional right to access beaches (just in case what I just wrote was confusing: I voted against the beaches proposition - we already have that "Open Beaches Act".)
